Water Warrior

I have a strange feeling of being in the world, which exists in a parallel dimension… Some missing or forgotten part of me is underneath the surface… Can’t remember the name, purpose or meaning…yet I know, I long for it.

I am a bit lost here…no smart advice, analytical point of view or intuitive reflections…just feeling of watching my days in a continuous reaction to unfolding events. My activities feel shallow, touching only the most basic or predictable aspects of my life. Something is left behind... just can’t remember what it is….

I see the perspective of the observer and at the same time, I am experiencing it. Duality of perception makes it a bit unreal, asking a question of identity.  Which person am I?  Both?  Is my spiritual/ unconscious part, the one which is patiently observing, while my ego /conscious is engaged in all activities?  The understanding and smart observer doesn’t interfere…just watches …with friendly detachment …and curiosity full of amusement. I know,  I can’t ask for directions, have to find it myself… It is so important…not to follow, but discover.

Feel half asleep and trapped in the space between, by being not committed to either one point of view. Still, hoping to find the answers, which will grand me, freedom and opportunity to experience my life with a deeper meaning and the endless source of energy. Living in the moment brings  “colors” to minute occurrences  and makes you aware of your presence in the every second of your life,  but living aimlessly …without a “destination” is like being lost at the sea….Yes... I believe that, those two opposing elements should be addressed equally in our lives…yin and yang…balance of the opposition…

Clear, planned goals must be counterbalanced by the easily obtainable change…if the situation arrives. ”Be exact and clear in your goals…but flexible in the ways to achieve them” I’ve read somewhere….

Today, when I opened my facebook account and started to read the news from my friends, the first thing which caught my attention was a quote by Donald Walsch :A life lived of choice is a life of conscious action. A life lived of chance is a life of unconscious creation."

I thought for a moment about a meaning of that quote…realizing it’s the continuation of my writing …or should I say...the closing words…I was searching for… but couldn’t express…Then, I wrote in the comment box: “Thank you..:)) Needed to hear it today....its been on my mind...consciously opening yourself to infinite possibilities is not the same as blindly leaving it to the chance...” …lesson learned….

Flexibility of action is fully appreciated, only in a well planned environment of established goals; the freedom of choice has a meaning, when we are aware of the choices; experiencing one’s life to the fullest,  by living in the present moment,  touches us the most, when we have a  view about  the “big picture “ of life…The concept of interplaying seemingly opposite elements….uniting both ideas in order to create balance, is simply a brilliant one…very present in Eastern philosophy…

Now I understand, why I felt “like water” ….    Somehow unbalanced, by living predominantly in one element of: openness, flexibility, free flowing in unrestricted ways, with no planned form of action, very little boundaries and undefined spaces….  It’s a very good way  to  feel  connected with everything around,  despite  diversity and richness….but one must be careful not to dissolve in nothingness… To travel, we will need a road and the vehicle…

Once we find a road ( a method) of experiencing oneness…we will need a “vehicle” which will  allow us to travel down that path…The vehicle is made out of opposing element : solid form, set goals, plans, defining opinions, ideas, something which ground us…. Through this relationship of opposites…the balanced energy is created …being at once… the beginning and the end ,  the question and the  answer, the definition and the metaphor … the vehicle and the road…to travel, learn, grow…become…

It turned out…I’ve already  found  a beautiful road…I just forgot, I needed a vehicle as well…Well, back to the drawing board …need to get a car…. Or….would a bicycle be all right lol…..?

The Little Prince

"People where you live," the little prince said, "grow five thousand roses in one garden... yet they don't find what they're looking for..."

"They don't find it," I answered.

"And yet what they're looking for could be found in a single rose, or a little water..."

"Of course," I answered.

And the little prince added, "But eyes are blind. You have to look with the heart."
