Our Positive Force 133rd Day 05-13

 Lately it has became very popular to be positive… to think positive thoughts , imagine positive outcome, feel positive emotions …I suppose , we are realizing it more and more what an impact an attitude can have.  Personally, I think it’s great to bring the awareness of positivity to the open…yet on the occasions, I think the idea of it, might be slightly misunderstood. Smiling all day long without deeper connection to the internal meaning it’s a bit questionable to me…besides, it may lead your face muscle into the heavy overload… On the other hand, I have read somewhere that simple act of smiling ...even without reasons…can considerably lift your spirits…and performing caring, loving action toward a person we don’t like too much…will change our feelings to positive …I don’t doubt that…it’s always good to start somewhere…  But in the long run, it needs to have a solid foundation …expressing our inner self, philosophy, ideals, character…not just mechanistic function of involving about seventeen muscles to smile ( number depending on different studies).

Also the repetition of the words…”everything will be all right… be positive…I will get better…can do it…”etc. without deeper conviction of it …will lead us not exactly to the “bright side”… Language is just one of many forms of communication and self expression…what it carries is the message…thought…energy of it…and that’s what makes a real impact… The positivity is not a magic of acting in a certain way …it’s an attitude full of loving  energy allowing to chose light over the darkness… and  attracting alike ….

  For all people…and you know who you are…natural born skeptics; seeing the glass half empty; imagining always the worst case scenario …it may be the best to take the “baby steps” toward this new and “crazy world” of positivity….First of all its good to realize (generalizing) …we will only have two possible outcomes to anything in our life (statistically speaking…not ideologically)…positive or negative…We have 50/50 chance…It’s not bad…so…what are we going to do with our 50% negative possibility…? The answer is …absolutely nothing…if we have no control of it…worrying will not serve any purpose, except making us miserable or sick…Letting go of the idea to control is very scary in the beginning …but at the  end, feels as if heavy burden was lifted from our shoulders.

Changing what you can …and at the same time admitting that, we are not an omnipotent …gives us enough strength to be positively active without the need to control everything. It was not exactly a revelation to me, more of a relaxation and a wise acceptance.

 Another “baby step”, which has tremendous effect on the way we perceive the world, is gratitude… It’s one of the most important futures in our collection of positivity…Finding the reasons to be grateful and happy for… is … simply priceless…especially on those “low days”…when it might be challenging to feel positive …Gratitude will help us to sustain in  our hope, faith and trust for  the  positive outcome or future… Feeling the positivity when everything is going well is great …but it is really necessary when the road gets tough …Training ourselves to find, no matter how small, things to be happy about …something that will connects our soul to the source of life, is a lesson we need to learn…It could be an appreciation of life itself…its beauty in various forms…from arts to friendship, love or ideas…or some things that we always will cherish…even if it’s only  in our memories…The point is to find again the vibration of acceptance, joy , love, hope…to start up our “internal engine” …toward the light.

And last, but not the least in our “baby steps”…It can never be an act…it needs to be heartfelt true, real experience, touching our inner core. There are some shortcuts…to feeling good on the “blue days”…and I am convinced …we were born to move…run…jump…play…be a kid… feel the sun, wind …smell the flowers, freshly baked pie, laugh at silly jokes, love; be amused, moved to tears, help each other, offer friendship, simply feeling connected with everything around….through our senses…emotions…or mind…

Appreciation of life itself is a very powerful factor in living with the attitude of gratefulness, love and positivity. Make it meaningful to you , touchable to your heart, expanding it and sharing with others…positivity is just another word for love … act of embracing good with bad and saying …I hope, believe , trust…despite...anything bad that happened before…believing in the human spirit and its resilience … hoping for the best not because our eyes are closely shut …but because we’ve  learned to see with our hearts…and that’s truly the most important lesson…

The Little Prince

"People where you live," the little prince said, "grow five thousand roses in one garden... yet they don't find what they're looking for..."
