Freedom...? 131st Day 5-11

Freedom is……Some people would argue it’s only our illusion. They say, we are influenced by genetics, environment, and social, cultural or emotional factors…So our free choice is an illusion inside the illusion…. We are the bundle of interconnected elements playing the game of bringing forward the predetermined outcome under the veil of the freedom… It’s a little too mechanical vision of the world and humans…reminding me of the precise Swiss watch…predictable…with only set numbers of possible actions. The world is too subtle and genius for this kindergarten view …beauty lies in simplicity …which is at this moment beyond our understanding…Simplicity breeding certain interactions …some would call it cause and effect … but with an infinite numbers of possibilities… The predetermined process of an infinite number of actions ( in certain sense ...a probability) becomes by its characteristic a “free” choice. This academic dilemma is the result of our mind trying to explain…world doesn’t need  the distinction of predetermined versus free…We…humans …or rather our mind is attempting to grasp the idea of choice...and  end up defining it , breaking into pieces and categorizing…trying to make it simpler …we complicate it,  too much…Losing unity and seeing everything as a separate parts...

Nevertheless, we  can’t argue how important it is for us to be free….Is this something we are all born with? The need to speak, thinks, act and feel free of the outside influence…? Is this one of our archetypes...ingrained in the collective conscience? Then again, how do we define the outside (of us) from inside…? The answers are tied with the perception of the world…Arguing about existence of freedom becomes a classroom exercise …leading to more questions but not answers… To stop thinking all together is not possible too… We were meant to question, wonder…feel and at the end let it “be”….

I would say the idea of freedom is needed for us humans more, than definition of it…By embracing it ...we release the need to control… and allow the idea of" constant change" into our lives. It has serious repercussion in the way we live…form relationships, stay true to ourselves or accept change.

If we respect other people’s right to freedom in the broad sense …we are less likely trying to manipulate them or force to act accordingly  to our expectations…Personal  relationships based on the notion of freedom are more tolerant,  consciously mature, favoring partnership over codependency…Letting go of old patterns, outgrown interplay, not working relations is much easier when we realize …we never had it in the first place …Everyone is free to fulfill its destiny…the freedom to chose direction or the way of life is equal for  everyone …we don’t belong to each other’s… we just make a free choice to be ….or not to be …here.

Freedom also means ….I am here …take a good look at me…that’s what I represent, that’s who I am, that’s what I believe in….My freedom to chose is an expression of my own individuality, distinguishing me from others, my own voice, my unique path in life ….the definition of form, being explored by consciousness….Freedom links directly with the inner self and the  truth of its choice, expresses the mind, body and spirit …and its influence in the universe…Its never an illusion to me …its my choice …given at the time of the birth…It’s a sparkle of divine …best friend and a lesson in  letting go ….

The Little Prince

"People where you live," the little prince said, "grow five thousand roses in one garden... yet they don't find what they're looking for..."

"They don't find it," I answered.

"And yet what they're looking for could be found in a single rose, or a little water..."

"Of course," I answered.

And the little prince added, "But eyes are blind. You have to look with the heart."
