Feeling blue...123rd Day 05-03

by Administrator 3. May 2011 23:52

The days are not equal...they are like an empty vessel, filling up with emotions, people, places…and more. Some are full of life and laughter…others carry a string of melancholy…occasionally, few will color us blue with a wish to escape ... The melancholic days are a peculiar kinds …neither good nor bad…just lingering there, with a feeling of missing something or someone. If we could only figure out …what is, that we long for… maybe we could  “fix “it … but without clear cause and effect …we just hang in there…Feeling  as a visitors in the “house of mirrors”, where you can see something clearly in front of you  but  its only a reflection … illusion.

Today is my melancholy day…making me a little sad with no apparent reason. The explanation could be very simple… such as the weather… a bit rainy with lower pressure… (Unfortunately, I am a “human barometric instrument”) or quite complex…At this moment, I am not interested in the origin of it …no soul searching…just noticing  the “ little void”.

I suppose…there must be days like that…can’t fight it… better to accept and move along … To “walk sooner, on the sunshine” again we can use few tricks. First of all …no pretending or covering it up…By all means acknowledge your state calmly…and after a short visit in the blue part of the world…”start walking” …to the better horizons. My best defense against too long stay in this condition is to get going!!! Forcing yourself back to the gym, going for a walk, playing  some sports…exercising…just moving  your body!! It will do wonders for you…

Also, got few books to read…not my usual first choice…but that’s even better…little experiment is always welcomed …

As I was walking toward the gym...first few drops of the rain were making its way to the ground… falling on my face and beginning to wash the “blues”….The air inside the club was full of moisture, making it harder to run… after a workout, I did looked as if running through the storm…my body drenched with sweat…but much happier…the melancholy is beginning to fade away …as a reminder that nothing stays forever …Sometime it’s just the perfect  arrangement ….

The Little Prince

"People where you live," the little prince said, "grow five thousand roses in one garden... yet they don't find what they're looking for..."

"They don't find it," I answered.

"And yet what they're looking for could be found in a single rose, or a little water..."

"Of course," I answered.

And the little prince added, "But eyes are blind. You have to look with the heart."
