Blubonnets 50th Day 02-19

I like living in Texas…why not…? Yes, it gets too hot in summer and if you are planning a road trip, prepare for a long one, just to venture to another state.  The spring time is one of my favorites, with bluebonnets fields, spreading everywhere and showing its vibrant, blue color. We use to take a short drive, to the area around Austin, where abundance of flowers, created the perfect spot for taking great pictures. The beauty and simplicity of nature makes you realize, that the same truth applies to us, our relationships, family and life.

The melting ice cream, shared with your kids on a hot summer day; romantic picnic with your loved one; walk in the park with four legged companion; soulful evening spend gazing at the stars; campfire alluring us with light and warmth and promising plenty of marshmallow and lots of good time; the new, beautifully bloomed flower, asking for our attention  in the early morning, innocently covered by a fresh dew; silly and genuine belly laughter of the kids, sounding like a tiny silver bells; ever changing symphony of gently moving leaves to the wind’s lullaby of the silent music ; the unexpected  and sincere smile from a complete stranger; the scent of the freshly baked apple pie; a sweet goodnight  kiss from your child, giving you all the love, the small body and a big heart  can express; the peaceful  comfort of your bed and the eyes of your loved one, sharing this moment in time together ….

There is so much to be thankful and grateful for, in the world around us, no wonder sometime it’s called the greatest “magic show “on the Earth. We don’t have to look far and deep to notice amazing things, we just need to open our eyes with our heart. The heart vision is very different from our “eyes”, it lets you see world around, as in for the very first time. There is no judgment or prejudice, only new beginnings and chances, given to help you feel, become aware and fully alive. Anything that unlocks the heart out of indifference or apathy is worth more than best “prizes won in the rat race”.

You are the unique human being; don’t compare yourself to the others around you. Yours distinctively unmatched set of fingerprints or the irises of the eyes, are the physical manifestation of who you are in the spiritual sense. Your goals and the way you live your life should reflect it. Something small and uneventful to others could be the whole galaxy for you. It lies in a perspective and which one are you going to be guided by…?

I remember reading a book, very long time ago …I was probably around 12 or 14…years old. It was about the life of a famous painter, seen through his eyes. It showed how he perceived the world around him because of his talent in visual arts. From the early years of his childhood, he noticed life very differently from the people around him. It was in the shadow and light, colors and hues, beauty of the form and lines. Seeing the world according to his perception,  felt as an opening of the secret passage door to unforeseen life, full of new senses and magic.

We are sharing one world around us, but we see, hear, feel and sense it, in the slightly different ways. It is “filter” by our “lightness of being” and reflected back to us with different message.  Being aware of that brings tolerance and acceptance of so many variations. We should be happy for diversity in the way this data is processed. It would be impossible to contain all  of the information threads in each and one of us… sharing and connecting we can access…such a vibrant variety , giving us more complex and true vision of the world. Our mission is to embrace our uniqueness, to learn from it by sharing and putting different pieces of the puzzle together. That’s where our strength lies.

Love your “spiritual fingerprints”, knowing it could be benefiting not only you, but everyone else. We were meant to follow our own path and share the experiences from that journey. They may be simple for you but profound for someone else. All is required, is to be true to yourself.

Personally, I enjoy learning from the other people and opening my eyes to their perspective, many times so unusual and surprising. Mine truth, is just “simple”…that’s my cup of tea…with the relaxing sound of the rain, knocking at the window, warmth of the sun on my skin, the awareness of a precious time marking its way and collecting new experiences, feeling of genuine and unbounded affection, hope in new beginnings and happy endings and… us…on our small, blue planet …unique but still fitting into the picture of a Milky Way and beyond….

The Little Prince

"People where you live," the little prince said, "grow five thousand roses in one garden... yet they don't find what they're looking for..."

"They don't find it," I answered.

"And yet what they're looking for could be found in a single rose, or a little water..."

"Of course," I answered.

And the little prince added, "But eyes are blind. You have to look with the heart."
