There are times in our lives, that we are trying too hard…to push our way through, to please or impress someone else or to continue something…we know deep inside, is leading us in the wrong direction…Its not only the momentum of the action, that is carrying us but also certain stubbornness or pride… We feel compelled to follow that plan, goal or certain set of attitudes …afraid we’ve “wasted’ our efforts, time or were mistaken in our perception… Actually, there is nothing wrong to just relax…and let things be…taking its own course, not forced by expectations or the narrative, epic voice in our head…To embrace the stillness of the moment with no obvious purpose, except the feeling of trust and faith in the “bigger picture, then us”… is simple, yet courageous act. I know, from my own experience, how difficult it is to say “I am sorry...I was wrong…”or simply, “I’ve made a mistake “…no one likes to admit to the fact of being lost in its way…we would rather be in the position of all knowing, no errors with creative, grand vision…Our ego gets bruised easily by the tarnished picture of ourselves….we are desperately trying to proof we are “perfect”… Mistakes are vied as something unwelcomed, the sign of the failure and bad planning… But how else can we learn, if not with the assistance of the firsthand experience, making us humble, understanding and aware of the need to forgive…people around us and most importantly ourselves. By not allowing being wrong or making mistakes we are limiting our experiences to well known and predictable path …maybe safe at times, but boring and empty in the meaning to us. With no lessons to be learned, there is no chance for growth ….and change… It’s the most important lesson to understand, that we are perfect…from the beginning …in our imperfections and mistakes we make. If anyone tells you any different...they have to change their vision and allowed the fear to step away, opening themselves to unknown and unpredictable but also magical, exciting and as real as it can get. We would like to know the answers or even sometimes which important questions to ask…but then again, it would not help us to become …someone, we were always destined to be….Don’t ever feel that you can’t step away from the road you travel, because it would mean…you were wrong…after all, that brought you to this point in time… I know, it means trusting yourself more and comparing less, with the other people. Letting your ego take a little vacation and listening to the wise voice inside. Ultimately, it’s better to travel with passion, conviction, truth …and occasional mistakes then with preplanned comfort of someone else’s journey with destination of no importance, awe and wonder….
