Expand your life

Life shrinks or expands in direct correlation to the expression of ourselves. Rich one, filled with passionate pursuits, vibrant social life, different looks and voices, will build highways upon highways of communication with the world; on the other hand, mundane, repetitive activities, boring tasks, lack of creative abilities or poorly evolved conscious will reduce it to two dimensional, grey matter. We are responsible for size and quality of our “personal world, artists with full array of colors and sounds to choose from.

What if we are a little challenged in our perception, and can’t seem to appreciate beauty of design or brilliance in symphony of sounds…? Are we doomed to live a life of indifference, shallow, flat and dull?

I don’t believe so…we are an amazing species, and we can learn to “see and hear” better. I’ve listed few suggestions on how to awaken our spirit, feel alive, and live in the multidimensional world.

1. Be your own renaissance man/woman with many interests.

2. Follow your passions; search, expand, investigate; be a detective in your life, searching for clues on what makes you happy, thrilled, interested, moved, excited, thoughtful, and engaged.

3. Join the group of people with similar interests or…completely new one. In other words share while expanding your own passions or while learning new skills or perspective. .Share your talents and abilities, connect, study and inspire.

4. Treat your personal development the same way, as you would your career in work force….grow, grow and grow...

5. Always learn…. and challenge yourself.

6. Deepen your appreciation and sensitivity of the surrounding world by “microscopic vision” …learn details …and then details of details etc. The life of your particular interest will grow when you will decide to look closer and closer…

7. Everything you encounter in life has a potential to make an impact on you, change or make you grow. The more out of the box occurrences, friendships, ideas you are exposed to, the more likely you will reexamine your beliefs and ideals…shaking up your world and opening the windows to fresh perspectives. Gain new insights, by allowing new experiences and by turning off blind judgment to resist anything new.

8. Treat yourself as the unwritten book ; Wake up each morning with no assumption of what you like or not, make a decisions based on who you are right now. Let curiosity and intuition lead you.

9. Diversify your circle of friends by meeting people from different cultures and variety of interests. See the world from someone else’s perspective.

10. Imagine yourself as a vibrant spectrum of light with endless possibilities of different shades and hues. Picture your life as a painting …you are an artist…express your unique vision, any way your heart desires.

Most importantly: Say “yes” to life. Treat each day as the unique opportunity to express yourself. Practice gratitude, let go of the fear, trust your intuition, and be positive and loving.

Look up into the starry sky, wondering about its vastness and beauty. Feel the magic of the Universe… amazed, how perfect it is. Be a good story teller by living your life to the fullest, showing who you are, what you like, believe in, hope, dream, love…Make it interesting, wise, heartfelt, funny….or any way you want it to be … Be true to yourself , filling page after page with no regrets, second thoughts or unfulfilled dreams.

The Little Prince

"People where you live," the little prince said, "grow five thousand roses in one garden... yet they don't find what they're looking for..."

"They don't find it," I answered.

"And yet what they're looking for could be found in a single rose, or a little water..."

"Of course," I answered.

And the little prince added, "But eyes are blind. You have to look with the heart."
